The House

The house has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and sleeps up to 10 guests. Located 50M from the banks of the Lundsklip river, sit on the verandah and watch nature at its best. Enjoy the full use of the house and enjoy all the amenities this prestigious estate has to offer.

Your host

Our housekeeper is Ester, who has managed the house for some 20 years. Ester is onsite daily from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm to discreetly wash up, reset fires and braai, make beds and generally make your stay a totally relaxing getaway with as little on the chore side to do as possible.

Ester offers babysitting services (evenings only). . Please arrange directly with Ester.

Security

Walkersons Country Estate is a 24 hr security controlled estate so no need to worry about anything. Vehicles are parked undercover at the house. You must provide a contact tele no so we are able to send you an access code for the Estate.

Solar, Inverter and Battery

We have recently installed Solar power supported by an inverter and batteries. There is a seamless switchover from utility power to solar and battery power to minimise disruptions to guests caused by power outages. Please note that the oven and hot water geysers are not linked to the solar and battery supply.
